Local Landing Pages

In a nut shell, we have found that by creating highly optomised web pages that target specific areas such as towns and villages you can get your business ranking much higher in Google for people searching for your services in these areas.

How it works

Customers searching for your services tend to do so in a fairly defined way, they will enter the service term and their location to find the businesses local to them. So for example try searching in Google for 'logo designers in cheam', you will see as one of the top results our website. Try some more, this time search for 'graphic designer ashtead' and 'website desginer in banstead', for these results we don't show at the absolute top of the page but we do show about half way down, not bad considering when we did not have a landing page for these areas our business was not displayed at all! Now click on one of these listings in Google to see our landing page.

The Landing Page

When you arrive at our landing page you will see that in the headings and text we mention the area and services quite a few times, this is also repeated in the meta tag data which Google uses to help determine what the page is about. So from this you can get the idea of what we are doing, by having a page with dedicated content saying you do a particular service for a particular area you can improve you listing position within these areas and capture new customers who would not have normally found your service. There is a bit more to it than this but we can't give all our secrets away!

An important factor in your websites success in Google is its page rank. Google assigns each website with a page rank score (0-10) which is determined by the quantity and quality of links from other websites pointing to your website.
